School prom pictures in the sunshine at Shipley Glen

I spent a very sunny evening up at Shipley Glen with Shannon and Beth for some photos of them looking their best, ready for their prom. They wanted some pictures to remember their dresses and to give to family, but they did not want a traditional posed prom shot. The woods and rocks at the Glen let us have fun and capture some great pictures with a difference.

The sun was low in the sky, so I featured it in the pictures to give them a bright, ethereal look. The girls had fun, whilst Shannon’s mum was frantically trying to make sure their heels did not cause them too much grief on the uneven ground.

The girls love their photos, and enjoyed their prom. I am really pleased with how the pictures turned out; above are a few of my favourites of the day. The girls (and their mums) each receive a disk with 61 images from the day.
