I joined Barbara and Norman for a walk around the lovely Durham Dales town of Stanhope down by the River Wear with their grandson. We had a lovely time in the gorgeous weather taking some pictures as we strolled around. Here are some of my favourites from the afternoon.

Stanhope is a very pretty town, and the path down by the river is very well kept. It’s a perfect place to let your little one out of the pushchair to stretch his legs. These photographs typify the type of photo I love taking – they have a relaxed, informal feel and I think that you can easily tell that everyone was having fun.
I’d love it if you added a comment to this page as I really appreciate feedback on my work. I'll never publish your email address, or use it to send you any junk.

Hi, Michael,
”Wonderful work! It’s grand to see your folks and your son. Amazing -in my mind you are that little fellow saying goodbye at the train station. Good luck in your photo career.
